Overview
Players sit down at tables in a big medieval tavern on a stormy night, roll six dice, set aside the scoring ones, and decide whether to roll again or bank their points before they bust. First to 2,000 wins. It's inspired by the dice game in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Rolling six scoring dice gives “hot dice” and a fresh roll of all six. Players duel each other 1v1, jump into Quick Match, or practice against Old Wendel, the tavern's resident bot.
What I built
- Bank it or strike with it
- Any triple can be banked for points or turned into a strike that knocks the same amount off the opponent's score, one strike per turn. A strike only lands if you bank that turn, so busting loses it, which turns every triple into a real decision.
- Progression without gambling
- There are no bets or stakes, so the game stays all-ages. Winning unlocks new rooms of the tavern instead, starting with the Copper Room.
- Special dice and a loadout
- Players earn special dice like the Lucky, Daredevil's and Clockwork dice through quests and bounties, then pick up to three to bring to every table. The rest of the set uses their chosen dice skin.
- Cosmetics that never change the odds
- Dice skins, table cloths and roll styles like Gravity, where dice float and then slam down, only change how the dice look and move, never what they roll. Tobin the peddler sells a rotating selection for coins or Robux, and the paid refresh is switched off in regions that restrict paid random items.
- Rewards that can't be farmed
- Coins come only from matches against real players. Bot matches pay nothing, and a player who leaves mid-game earns nothing.
- Stats, titles and a leaderboard
- Every player's profile tracks 20 stats, from win rate and best streak to hot dice and strikes landed, with 22 titles to unlock and a Tavern Legends leaderboard on the wall.
